New Masteries Support

We are now in the Preseason!1!!

As you were informed when logging in we have to rework our masteries as they were resetted due to new options.

Silver hope is a community where we can use our collectiv mind to find the best.

I will try to hold the following list actual. If u find or build new masteries write a small comment to them and check if the builds u think for janna isn't already used for sona (so we dont need 2 times the same mastery page). try to give it informative names like "Sona with run speed" so that u see for whom it is and maybe the most important choice u made.

The best way to build up masteries is to understand them well and not only follow the mobafire builds ! But, of course, it's always great to check it and take inspiration

i did not use any mobafire builds sure u have to understand them but to find the best ones ourselves is what we should be talking here and not say best is not to do that but u didnt wantt o do that anyway

(u can use any visual builder u like even from darth.al/seaso-4-masteries.php if u like that one better)

my recommendation for sona

i think your masteries go inthe direction of making her tankier and mine into making her another ap

i think both are viable and the new items one will often buy will pull the scale

if the buiscuits just give u 10 mana so it will just be a bit stronger health potion

i dont really like the points there myself

i got these for sona

they're kinda weird, so I'll try to explain it

offensive tree : just for the cooldown reduction and expose weakness (adc deals more damage, sona got good poke early)

utilty tree :

being back in lane faster (phasewalker/fleet of foot/wanderer)  :  when sona has to go back, so she's faster back in lane, because her gold income is based on poking the enemy's, standing near minions or execute them with the new item. she is faster back in lane, so she gets more gold and being near the adc is important anyway

scout : more range on trinkets should be good on a support

mana regen ... should be obvious anyway

the upgraded potions ... just more healing on HP, and you get mana

gold income (per 10 seconds, starting gold, gold when your adc kills a minion, when you poke them) : you need gold, but you're not farming ... so obvious again

cd reduction and cd reduction on active items : supports got a lot of actives on items, so the 10% are good here ... and like i said, i like normal cd-reduction on her, with the 5% cd reduction on the offensive tree, she got 10% , if she buys cd-reduction boots, she got 25% cd-reduction early in the game, and that's a lot

cd-reduction on summoner spells : i just like it, more flash and exhaust is just good

expierence when near an ally with a higher level : supports used to be a lower level than the team, and they're like always near someone, so this should help her



why no defense tree? :

gives her slighty more health or armor/mr, but it's not that much, sona is very squishy anyway, so i don't think they help her that much, she got a heal vs poking, and she isn't a focus in teamfights, where she got her creshendo
i just prefer the cd-reduction and utilty in general on her over slighty more health/armor/mr

i never tested them

i am not sure if going for exposed weakness really pays out, yes u get 1% more dmg if u do a 1k crit it means u will do another 10 dmg bonus and as sona can not fully controll which enemy to hit with her spells (except r)

i think it would be stronger on janna or so then on sona if used at all

maybe somebody else start giving some input

the thing is, sona ap scale is like non existant, compared 2 others like janna(AP=adc AD), the only thing sona gets is an 8% increased slow with e power chord at 100ap, hence it is better 2 build her tanker, which makes u win lane more often, and then again feeds both u and ur adc, so u get items like cruicable and locket asap for ur team

q 185 dmg plus

w 92 heal plus

e 15% movement speed

r 185 dmg

but that as full bought + blue elex (refered to pic) b7ut without mana regeneration

so i guess i will move over to a deff mastery build too

Annie, fiddle, thresh, leona are the way to GLORIOUS PWNAGE.
Other supports became invalid compared to those.

Annie and fiddle basicaly become secondary source of ap damage while providing strong cc.
Thresh and leona become unkillable tanks, just because they can build items faster.

Well, probably nami is an exception. A way to go if someone banned thresh and annie.

Forgot zyra, cuz I somehow rarely played with her at bot lane.
But yea, she is even more potent than annie.

Liss not really viable. Takes too long to get zonya and you need it as your squishy. In lane no hard cc till level 6. Others do what you do better. Close range snare will be hard to use well. If you go in due to your low base hp you will get nuked so you have to play passive and reactively and because you have no sustain for you or your adc you will lose lane at least 70% of the time when they poke you to death. Only works for team fight kiting. May as well go janna, lulu, nami, thresh if you want to do that among others.

I think Elise may have her comeback as a conventional support pick.

i was thinking about that too poxy but she has less sup power then zilean her ring of frost to go al in an dthen later her ulti

sure it is possible to play her annie only has her stun and her ulti 2 more or less

Thresh is going to be permabaned since now in soloq   

he was always strong and was planned to be one of my sups for s4
