Bringing Back the 2 min mark ganks!!

Hello Fellow SHP's,
I'm SrGankalot and I am here because I want to talk about something:
The 3 min mark 3 Jungle ganks!

Lets get strated shall we

We all know that since Season4 jungle changes, the Jungler is no longer able to Get lvl 3 from only the 2 big camps.
Which is sad as I LOVED the 3 min ganks as it could snowball a lane really hard!
(mostly Top lane)

So this weekend I was watching LCS and I saw Zilean support 2 times, and saw how strong it was (in the right matchups)
I also noticed how their toplaner out lvld the enemy's top laner, while going fairly even.
so I started wondering "HOW?"

Then it came to mind, ZILEANS PASSIVE!!

And the first thing I could think of was if I could use that passive to use my lvl 3 ganks again!
So I started doing some Math, and YES its possible!

If you take 1 EXP Quint en you have Zilean in your team you can get lvl 3 from both buffs again.


Now I’m wondering, is this worth it?

trading 1 EXP Quint for a Quint that gives 2.25 AD.
I think that if that first gank is successfully (and if you have champion at top lane that can snowball really hard from 1 gank)
this would be worth it!


So I think with the right team this could be a very strong (old) strategy.


Tl;DR:

Trading 1 AD Quint for a EXP Quint + a Zillean support, so the jungler can lvl 3 gank after both buffs
and snow ball for expl: top lane very hard.

Yo, already knew that. In my opinion its only worth if you play in a team. Also you NEED zilean, without him this plan is not executable.
What if your support cannot play zilean and will lose lane? Thats the next con in my opinion.

I would like to try this out too, but i'm afraid of loosing other lanes cuz of the zilean pick :/

I know its mostly a TEAM strategie, but it could work.
If executed succesfully this can work well!

ganglot they even talked about that option by the commentators

so those who watched lcs know about it

and zilean only works if u dont loose ur lane

well you have to be ... expierenced as a team to do that
bad puns are bad

and wouldnt going 3 exp quints have te same effect ?

implementing something from championships nto soloq gonna give you butthurt and heart attacks, nothing more

I kinda watched Those games with the sound low/shut off because I was skyping with a girl friend of mine (who needed my attention so I didn't hear them talking about it :S)

Going 3 EXP quints doesnt work, Maybe if you take 3/4 Exp Seals but I think you'll lack to much "good" runes so not sure if it will really give you and advantage and it MAY even be worse.

Second I understand that doing something that you see in champion ships in SoloQ is going to get your buthurt, but I wasnt thinking about doing this in SoloQ.

This is more something I'd do with a team.
