The comeback of the Bear ?

Anyone noticed Volibear making his comeback since the rest of the junglers like Shyvana and top laners like Nasus are really popular right now?

I've been playing alot of Volibear lately (which I used to hate), and been really successful with it. Simply because the quick assassin mobility meta has changed to more of a sustained dmg meta atm. Things might change but atm, the bear is pretty strong

I really hope this meta stays as I really like it. It gives the tanky junglers more shine-time in teamfights!

He was always strong. Especially in lane.
It's just most people have "brain metacancer" and they tend to pick what they see on tournaments, reddit, and streams.
Lucian for example was considered a piece of shit on release however at the moment he is one of the most popular adc just because koreans made a couple of pentas with him.

It's because the meta changed doe.
Assassins are less used. So Lucian is more popular as the only thing stopping Lucian from his plays in LCS is all the Zed, Fizz and Kassadins. With them gone, he's actually really good.

Same with Volibear I think. Mobility has been less of a must-have now in S4 for some reason.
Making chasers having a better chance of playing again.

Also Lucian was actually shit when he just came out, its only after he got some buffs that he actually became this strong!

higher base mana regen and a Q buff (these little changes made him a lot stronger)
also people most of the time dont know how to play champions from the start and need to figure them out, so in the begining people call champs "shit" just because they dont know the right way to play/build him!

Also I dont know yet about volibear, But I already had a feeling that with the masterie changes he would be getting a litlle bit stronger again.

also stuff like mundo naut and lissandra have made there way to the top lane on more frequent days brand is even viable because the lack of early ganks

Not sure about nautlilus and Brand. But agree on Mundo and Lissandra.
