what do u think wuld that maybe be a new starter item for adc's?

I guess the new item could be strong on Ad Carrys that get harrassed or poke around a lot early in lane phase.
Also it makes a support stronger that can harass the enemy lane for example to take pressure of the adc for safer farming.
I could think that it could be worht a try for example with vayne vs cait or so

the heal of the effect goes on the sup if u have a sup without healing abilities like leona it might even be more worth then when playing with some like sona nami soraka

and it should make last hitting easier having checked out how a normal hit does dmg int he early game

Okay I just wrote a long this about this doing some math.

Not viable for adc. works out to be about .65+ regen a sec to the support in laning phase.
Best item for gold regen, use on cannon minon for full effect 85 gold in 90 secs to coin's upgrade 74 and frost's max of 80.
This will shine when used twice on first wave, rush level 2 and engage leaving early advantage in lane. Use with leo, naut, blitz and thresh

as i finished my patch notes to make it worse u need that item for build aegis or the higher version of it

I haven't tried it yet, but it allows you to lasthit EVERY cs while getting bonus gold for it.

DEFINITELY viable.

I've read reddit people are already abusing it.

Also Riot 100% gonna nerf it, i'ts just broken. TIME TO YOLOQ

putting it simply, both adc and support gets teh relic shield, givng eachother sustain and massive amounts of gold, reducioulously op

firelius u only have 2 stacks and the stack refreshes after 30s so not always activ

i heard that even in higher ranks not the play double top lane no jungle with it

Not really, you get one easy to get cs a wave. Since you cant both do the cannon it goes down to about to what on average 70g extra per 90 seconds. Having done the math it's only .65 hp regen per sec so 3 per 5. A nerfed Dorian's blade still has better sustain from the passive effect. The rest, for hp can take a extra auto where a DB give you more. You want damage over hp regen anyway on an adc so +8 damage>+6 regen. People need to stop calling this op.
The upgrade is not good on the adc, if you want extra gold on an adc better to take avarice blade and turn it into something usefull.

@lyth, i thing ur hypotheses does not take into acount, the item gives massive amounts of gold like 1k after 20 min, 2 ur support. which can be a tanky thresh leona creatung a tank, or giving fiddle/annie a massive dmg buff

Sorry poxy this post is about adc's not supports. I made a comparison about the other gold making items and showed this was best in terms of gold generation. I make it to be at a max in 20 mins to be about 1150g. I don't see how much post have not taken this into account in most of them I have given gold generation stats.
Also to be pointed out is that, it's stat lend it to melle tank champs, going to cs for the point of cs rather then engaging will lead you to take untradeable damage. Therefore the fact that is slightly better gold generation then the other items is balanced on supports and you need to cs the cannon for it be better, making it obvious for the other team to trade at that point. If your behind in lane you would be unable to cs it making the gold generation ineffective when you need the gold the most to get level again.

i dont think u gor my point, the adc taking tha item is what gives the support the extra 1 k, which is in a teamperspective worth, since supports can actually do dmg or tank this patch

and u have only a bit less dmg at the start but more health pots plus due to the stacks u get the passivs and it is not that the adc has to build it up he doesnt use dorean for other items too
